October and MIPCOM was back in Cannes. This year saw lots of celebrities in town for the event. Among those, I interviewed John Nettles, who plays Detective Tom Baranby in the UK drama Midsomer Murders.
He was in town to celebrate it’s 25th anniversary, along with a few other surprise announcements.
Also at this year’s MIPCOM was The Simpsons creator Matt Groening and producer Al Jean celebrating 20 years of animated mayhem. They were awarded MIPCOM’s first Creative Icon Award.
